Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
16:87-2.2 (a)2, is this felony/misdemeanor or simple violaton? does it appear on criminal record?

I could not find the statute you cite under the criminal code and title 16 of the New Jersey Statutes deals with corporations. You are probably being charged with a municipal ordiance
violation. If you will provide the name of the town I will look upon the ordinance.
