Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
10 year-old case new evidence maybe
A man was convicted for aggravated manslaughter and beating his 4 month old baby to death. Killing the baby by shaken baby syndrome. His wife was never charged with anything. It was just found on her blog that she had knowledge of him shaking the baby 1 time prior to the killing of the child, she never removed the child from the situation even knowing the father did this. Can the mother be charged with anything? Is she held liable of neglect of this child since she had prior knowledge of the father doing this to the child?

So she's unfit to be a mother. Any statute of limitations on any possible charges have past. If she has more children, have people keep an eye on them and report her to DYFS is she puts them at risk.
