Accident Related

My sister has crashed into a cop car by mistake.. Park way 3 lanes she was on last lane. 1 car ''random car'' was parked on the PARK WAY and was on third lane. (slow lane) and my sister was going about 60ish and there was a car in front of her. The front car swirved to the left and dodged the parked car when my sister had 2 options. Go on the side lan OR go to the left lane and hit another car. unfortunatly on the soulder lane there was the cop car. she hit it. the cop accused her of ''attempt of murder'' when it was totally not her fault. IN this situation u can see that she had no intention of hitting/killing a cop.

Lawyer said prison/jail 6months +...

can anyone help?

What can i do?

I have an office in New Brunswick and would be more than happy to help her. This is just an odd situation. How can she be charged with attempted murder and then have a 6 month sentence. Regardless, if 6 months is on the table and without knowing anything else about the case, there should be a good chance of getting her no time at all.
