Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
What if someone admits something in a public legal forum? If the reponses they get from legal experts is to stop posting questions like that on public forums but the website is considered "anonymous", how can the information be used against them? Who would be able to find these posts?

Just as Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, blog posts, etc. can be subpoenaed, so may posts on any other site and their associated accounts, IP addresses, etc. Asking general questions about a hypothetical legal situation is one thing, admitting facts or making statements is another. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
