Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

An adult assisting a minor in contacting another adult.

Our daughter, 16 has been banned from the internet after we discovered she was chatting with adults on dating sites. She ''thinks'' she is dating an 18 year old who we have forbidden her from contacting in any way.

Her friend's Mother decided we were too strict and has been assisting in printing and passing e-mails to my daughter from this 18 year old.

Do I have any legal recourse against this blatant disregard for our daughter's safety and well-being?

I have a signed letter from the woman chastising us for our ''treatment'' of our daughter and admitting that she is assisting in contact and sees nothing wrong with it.

She is assisting your daughter in juvenile delinquency, incorrigibility.

You have an attorney advise her of this.

Possibly, it will really depend on your local police what they think.
