AIM Chat Logs2

I asked a question about wether chat logs can be used against someone in a case where they say soemthing was distributed. I recieved an answer about authentication. to give more info, the chat log is just a printout from the computer of the chat itself that has a line saying that a file was sent..There is no authentication from AIM or any other evidence, just a line that says when the file was sent and a record of when the file was stored in the log itself. Can you please clarify...

I would argue that they are not admissible for reasons which I think are obvious. However, this is your attorney's job and he or she should be doing this for you; so I'm worried that he or she cannot answer this for you.
