apeal a plea bargin
my sons father commited murder while he wasn't in the right frame of mide he wasn't sane to even stad trial for 3 years he was offered a plea of aggravated manslaughter and his public deffender advised him to take it he was sentenced to 20 years in new jersey state prison what are the sentencing guidelines in new jersey for aggravated manslaughter and is there a way to get that plea thrown out and have his case taken to trial with an insanity plea or atleast get his sentence reduced hes already been incarcerated for 4 of those 20 years

His chances are not good and you should know that up front before you spend a lot of money in an attempt to get the sentence set aside. The most common argument raised in Post Conviction Relief Act cases is ineffective assistance of counsel.
