The Appeal Process
Could you please tell me how long the appeal process takes ? And if your in jail how would you know if a appeal has been filed for you and if and when it was accepted ?

Depends, 8 - 12 months is probably about average. I assume you would have a PD if you were in jail. Write him or her and ask.
