Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I was arrested on a conspiracy charge and recorded on audio tape by an undercover officer saying some things that got me into trouble.
However, after I received the Discovery and a copy of the tape I noticed some of the things I said were missing and believe the tape was edited.
How can I prove this? Do I have to get the original tape and have an expert look at it?
Also, if it is in fact altered, can I suppress the tape as evidence and file a motion for dismissal for this?

If you are not guilty you should not be working on a guilty plea agreement.
Before you submit yourself to the prosecutor's office for a lie detector test you must do your own, private, confidential test. Some people are poor test subjects.

I already answered your other question. I have to wonder why your attorney cannot answer these questions for you.
