Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I was arrested with fifteen 40mg pills of oxycotin. I have been charged under 2C: 35-10a(1). I have no priors, and am gainfully employed by the township in which I was arrested. I was released (ROR) and asked to continue to cooperate with police. What can I expect in this process and should I have a lawyer present the next time they contact me?

This is a third degree drug offense which means that you are facing up to 5 years in state prison, 2 years loss of your driver's license, and up to a $35,000.00 fine. This is not a small deal. You need a lawyer. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-

You are going to be required to get a lawyer. Either you'll pay for the public defender to represent you, or you can contact a private lawyer of your choice. Of course, I'm biased toward getting a private lawyer....

My fees for this type of case are very reasonable and I have been helping people out of these situations for almost 20 years. I know I can minimize the damage you face.

Feel free to write back or call me direct at 215 592 0033.

Mike
