Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I was arrested on possession w intent/ cocaine 2nd degree. Over a year ago, went to court an infinite number of times but in the process my grandmother past away so I flew over to be at the funeral. I wasn\'t able to go back to US cause my visa had expired so I wasn\'t able to make it back to court so I\'m sure there is a warrant out for my arrest.\n\nWhere I\'m at the law protects national from being extradited, therefore I can\'t be extradited but what bothers me the most is that when I was arrested the detective made up a couple of things on the report, for instance stated that there were confessions at the time of the arrest, although he had nothing to back this up and there was many other wrong things such wrong dates on reports, he performed a no Knock entry when we was not authorized to do so (of course the report says he did knock), also the warrant was talking about my car and they came into my resident, later of the corrected this by showing me an affidavit where the house was mentioned but the original warrant says vehicle.\n\nMy roommate and I and a couple friends had bought the stuff for personal use and miraculously only me got in trouble. Now days I changed I\'m finishing my engineer career at school and I could stay here and ignored this and live a happy life but the fact that there were so many wrong things in the reports and the fact that all fingers pointed at me and only me bothers me tremendously. Is there anything that could be done with respect to this.I tried to apply to PTI, but the lawyer I had never did, in fact he didn\'t do much at all. All info will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Absence does not always make the heart grow fonder. You are at a distinct disadvantage because you have a fugitive status. All of your complaints can be dealt with when there is no longer a warrant for your arrest. If you want help with surrendering and arranging a new bail I can help you with that. Of course there is the matter of the warrant which would cause you to be arrested when you reenter the country.

Call me if you can.

Keep in mind that once you are locked up, getting out will be tough as your bail will be very high. Thus, you are risking everything if you come back here.

You have to return to the United States and deal with this issue through the court systems. Since you already have a lawyer on your case, even if you are not fully satisfied with the assistance he gave you, maybe you should contact him to speak about these matters. He has your file and has more knowledge of the details of your case than I do, so he may be able to address your issues.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
