Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Arrested for the 1st time ever
I was recently arrested for a disorderly person offense (act of prostitution) I was called to meet a client, ( I work partime as a dancer) when I arrived at his room of course I asked if he was a cop and of course he said no I asked him to prove it by showing his penis he did. I then collected the money. While putting my money away he got completely un dressed. I got undressed as well he asked for a massage I did so for about 12min. He then begin to rub my legs and my butt about 3min later 5 men came through the door I was set up. Question though it was a sting was it by law did he have to get undressed and touch on me in order to bust me. I will be representing myself in a up coming court date and wanted to use that as part of my defense. I would greatly appreciate if someone can answer this question.

Apparently, you won't mind being found guilty of prostitution and therefore it is not worth hiring an attorney.
You do not seem to have much a defense
but might be able to amend the charge something other than prostitution. For this you need an attorney.
