arson fines/penalties

what are the min. and max. penalties if convicted of arson. arson in this case is a bag of leaves by the curb and not reporting it.

It sounds like 2nd degree. If it is you are looking at 5 to 10 in state prison. If 3rd degree and no prior convictions probation but can be between 3 to 5 yrs in state prison. You can call my office for a free phone consultation.

I would need to see the criminal complaint filed, but from your description it appears to be third degree arson with a maximum sentence of five years and a minimum sentence of probation.
