can my husband ..soon to be ex file assault charges against me when in acutally he did the assaulting

Yes he can. Than in court the judge would look at all the evidence and make the determination. A lot of times the counter charges are filed to force the original victim to drop their case. If you need assistance I can be reached at 201\646\9600.

He can file a complaint against you, if he is willing to swear to it being true and accurate and then you get to defend yourself and/or file your complaint against him for assaulting you. Hire an attorney for this.
