Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
If you assault a police officer and a complaint is filed against you in the state of NJ can they issue a federal warrant for your arrest if you leave the state?

Only if you assaulted the cop by throwing a rock at him while standing on the pa border. However nj can and probably will issue a fugitive warrant against you. There's no running from the law these days. Give me a call if you want to discuss your options.
