Assult Complaint, May lose state job after 5 years
My girlfriend and my ex both work for the state and my ex has been harassing my gf so she followed the chain of command and told the supervisor. The supervisor did nothing so she told the head supervisor. When there is a compliant the supervisors are supposed to move the other person, but they did not. The next day my ex came in swinging her hands and hitting them while coming towards my gf. My gf was scared because the girl is much bigger than her and she believed she was going to be hit, so w/o thinking she reacted and hit first and they began fighting. The girls that were there agreed not to tell anyone so they both could keep there jobs, but after my gf left, my ex had her friends all write statements against my gf. Now my gf might get fired after 5 years. When the girls learned this some of them wanted to change their statements because they lied. My gf has had no problems for 5 years until my ex was moved to her building for getting in trouble in another building. My ex signed a complaint against my gf for assault, so my gf signed one against her for harassment, but my ex still has her job, even after being in trouble several other times. What can my gf do to keep her job?
