Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Is it automatic
Is the two years loss of liscense automatic for the CDS in the motor vehicle??? If not how often is that the outcome? This is the first time she has ever been in trouble for anything and we have been nothing but cooperative with the police.

Yes, while there is a hardship exception for criminal drug offenses, this exception does not apply to title 39, i.e. traffic violations. If convicted, the judge must take her DL for 2 years, no more, no less, at least for that offense. Hence, my previous answer directing you to get a good attorney.
