Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

change of Lawyer

This is a case that has as scheduled trial date set for June 15. Unfortunately I have a public defender. Is it to late to change lawyers at this point

Re: change of Lawyer

Your application to get a new lawyer ultimately is decided by the judge, but usually they grant your request. You still have plenty of time before your trial date, so you should consult with an attorney who specializes in New Jersey criminal law as soon as possible. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
