Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

was charged with a burglary and theft and was seen with said property. I bought property from room mate of the person who things were stolen from after i posted bail a neighbor came to my wife and told her that they know for sure that i didnt commit said crime and they are willing to give a statement to my public defender what should i do?

Yes, hire a private attorney ASAP as your public defender may not move on the case until after you are indicted. Shouldn't cost you much to hire a private attorney at this point. 732/773/2768
