Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Charged with 2C:35-10A (4) and 2C:36-2

Well i was driving, i originally was pulled over for a brake light, then he said expired registration, and expired insurance, then they searched the vehicle, finding a roach, baggie, roach clip, and weed all on the floor. it was my moms car and i had no clue it was there. im due in court the 22nd, what should i do? Im going to plead not guilty, but i have no money for a lawyer, or fines, they told me that if i helped the narcotics officers, they would make this go away.

You have no credit cards? No one you know has a credit card? You should get a good attorney ASAP. I'm not so sure that these cops can or will help you.

When you go to court and plead not guilty also ask to apply for the public defender to represent you. If you are able to afford a private attorney feel free to call me. I have handled very many cases similar to yours throughout New Jersey in the past and I never charge for just discussing people's cases with them. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, esq.-
