A disorderly persons conviction can be expunged five years after probation, if any, is served, the jail sentence, if any is served, and all fines are paid. If you pled guilty to a municipal ordinance,

the waiting period is two years.

You can get this expunged, which means that it is removed from the ordinary records of criminal convictions. And then, after the expungement, if anyone (a job that you are applying to, or anyone else) asks if you were convicted of a disorderly persons offense, you can legally answer 'no'. I can help with this.
