Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

i have been charged with possession of cds( a joint in the back seat ) and possesion of cds in a motor vechile . I know the possession of cds in motor vechile carries a 2 year suspension that i cant afford . what are my options . is there any way to avoid the 2 year suspension . if i do the probation thing ( where they test me for 6 months ) will they drop they both charges if i complete it successfully ? HELP !!!!
