Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Two charges, Marijuana related, 1st offenses

I was arrested for possession of marijuana in the amount of less

than 50 grams in violation of N.J.S. 2C:35-10A(4). I was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in the manner of one glass smoking pipes containing residue of marijuana, in violation of N.J.S. 2C:36-2.

This is my first offense and I am an 18 year old college student in New Jersey. I also have a clean record. This took place in Millstone, N.J.

What should I do about this and what should I expect from the Judge?

Assitance of a NJ attorney could assess the various defenses and constitutional issues as well as potential programs that could save your driver's license loss from six for up to 24 months. I agree with the other attorneys that you need the protections that only a lawyer can provide to prevent this offense from threatening your future job opportunities after college.

You are facing very high fines, possible jail time, possible loss of your license, and a criminal record. However, there are ways to possibly minimize the penalties and maybe even to beat the charges against you. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
