Can a clerical error on a complaint form be used to dismiss a criminal charge?

No, not at all. It can be fixed at any time. I suggest you get a good attorney to fight the actual charges instead of worrying about issues such as this.

Usally a Judge will amend the complaint and continue with the matter. Just getting a conmplaint dismissed does not mean that it can't be refiled. I would consult an attorney. I will be happy to give you a free phone consultation.
