Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Can a Client change Attorneys during a hearing?

I am pondering changing attorneys during my hearing. I feel my attorney isn't taking a lot of weight with my case. I am being charged with serious offense. I also have the feeling I am going to get slammed in this case. I have paid the attorney 95% of fees thus far? I am looking for attorneys who have a extensive background with dealing with a different level of officers, outside of the Municipal level, and in cases where it appears to be a gang up on the defense, via prosecutor, and other law officials.

It is very difficult for an attorney to substitute as your lawyer in the

middle of a hearing. It is possible but not usually advisable.

Call me if you like.

I have to disagree with Mr. Moore. Your life is on the line here. If you are not happy with your lawyer you have the right to get a new one that will fight for you. I suggest you act ASAP though so the judge is OK with it.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
