Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I did commited a crime of shoplifting
My appointmen to appear in court is 5/5 09.This is the first time it do this.I,m treatment for some psyquiatric problems.I,m disabilitied.I,m have not economical resources to afford a lawyer fees.I have a 8 years old girld.What can you advice me to helpme? I will aptreciante your answer,before it become a crisis in my mental health.I do not want to go to jail.Pleassssseeeeeee!

Call the court in the town where you got the charge for shoplifting and apply to have the public defender represent you. There may not be any cost at all to get the public defender and they are lawyers. Good luck.
