Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I have a conditional discharge currently in Jackson, NJ for drug paraphernalia. I recently got arrested for 2C-33-2 for cursing and disrespecting an officer in public, driving while suspended and not having a seatbelt on. Now I know the traffic offenses dont apply to the CD, but will the petty disorderly offense be a violation of it?

Yes, because part of the conditional discharge program is to remain arrest free during the period of your probation. Your probation officer may choose not to violate you, but if they do violate you then you will have to return to court to deal with the paraphernalia charge. In addition to this you still have to go to court on the new 2C charge. Please contact my office for a free consultation. Thank you.
