Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Conditional Discharge

I was offered employment and they are doing a background check. I have been off of conditional discharge for quite a few months now. Will it show up on my background check?

Re: Conditional Discharge

There was not a conviction, so you will not have a record for a criminal conviction showing up. However, the arrest itself will show up. You can take care of this problem now by applying for an expungement. This can be done by yourself (go to the NJ courts online website, pro se packets section, to get forms for an expungement) or you can hire an experienced criminal attorney to handle this for you. I have done many expungements in the past, so if you would like to discuss this matter please feel free to contact me. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Your arrest will show up. You should hire me to expunge the record of the arrest.

Re: Conditional Discharge

Mr. Moore answered your question. As he indicated you can get this removed from your record. I also suggest that you hire an attorney to handle that if you want to go that route.

If you want to discuss this further, feel free to call me at 732/247/3340. My initial consultations are always free.
