Re: court appearance
This means that he has been charged with a criminal offense. If convicted he will have a criminal record. Depending on the crime and his situation, he could be looking at jail or prison. Those other numbers are just the case numbers. They tell me nothing about the type of crime he is alleged to have committed.
I suggest you contact an attorney ASAP.
My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss his case. If my Toms River or Monroe offices are too far from you, we can just discuss the case over the phone. I practice anywhere in NJ and I do not charge travel fees.
Re: court appearance
Just what you said it is, a complaint NUMBER. It tells you nothing, it just lets the court look up the charges by the NUMBER. How do people call you? They dial your number, they don;t pick up the phone any yell, "Dial aunt Martha." Pleezzzzzzzzzz think folks before you ask a question, and read it before you send it.
Re: court appearance
The numbers are the complaint/docket number. I can tell you that the charges are from 2008 but nothing else from those numbers. the green sheet would decribe the offense. Proabably starts with 2C:...... If you need more info call 732/286/2170

Re: court appearance
SC at the beginning of a complaint usually indicates that this is a Citizen's Complaint. What that means is that the police didn't bring a criminal charge against your son, but they did allow a private person to bring this criminal charge. I would need to discuss this case with you in more detail before I could give you any advice about it. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
