Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

How can this be?

I was in court today for filing a conplaint against a therapist for Screaming at me infront of my childeren which resulted in a charge of 2c:33-4a. the judge decides this is not the venue for his court and dismiss the charge to allow the state board handle it. refused to give me a finding of facts and when asked for information for filing a complaint the judge go off his bench and with an officer demanded that I leave the building. how is it possible to dismiss a criminal charge to allow a board to deal with allegations. I believe I as a victim was treated unfair and was bias. the charge is minor but still a criminal charge someone please explain or what i can do next/. I plan on doing what ever I can. i can not respond to comment left so please leave a email for me to reply

Re: How can this be?

Since you are not the defendant, you may not be able to appeal. I'd have to do some research. From what you tell me, it sounds like the charges were not properly disposed of, so thus, if anyone would have the right to appeal, it would be you.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
