Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
credit time served
I was extradited on a felony warrant and served 20 days all told until i was bailed out. I had an outstanding municipal charge that was not recognized at first. I am likely to recieve jail time for the municipal charge only. How can i get credit time served applied to the municipal charge?

Re: credit time served
If you weren't held on the municipal warrant then you cannot apply your time served to any jail you may get from that municipal court charge. Contact me if you would like to discuss this in more detail. Thank you.
