Crimanal complaint

If someone filed a crimnal complaint and then the prosecutors office is reviewing 2 indictable offenses but then the complaintent wants too dismiss the charges what can happen

On a criminal complaint the State of New Jersey is the plaintiff. The complainant is merely a witness. A change of heart on the part of the complainant can cause the prosecutor's office to allow a dismissal or it may not.
