Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Criminal record question
I was accused of theft from employer. I was arrested and later went to court with my lawer. The charges were dropped to a munipal ordiance. Does this mean I have a crinimal record or not? My lawer said no, I just want a second answer on this, because I will be applying for new job.
Thanks.

Re: Criminal record question
You will not have a conviction, but an arrest with this disposition will does exist. However, it would be rare for this to come up because of the way they do the checks.
