criminal tresspassing

my 18 yr old son was arrested for criminal trespassing. the owners were not home and do not wish to press charges. do the police have a case?

Trespassing requires entry upon the premises of another against their wishes or without their authorization.

If the owners of the subject property

are not willing to support the States

case there is no case.

Mr. Moore is correct, but the problem is, the charges have already been filed. If the State wants them to testify, they will testify. I suggest that he get a good attorney sooner rather than later.
