You would need to hire a lawyer to see if you qualify to seal it.

Re: criminalrecords

A sexual assault conviction could not be expunged but a sexual assault charge which has been dismissed can be

expunged. You need an attorney for this

Re: criminalrecords

If your charge was dismissed but you still have the arrest showing up on your record you can file for an expungement of that record. It is a fairly involved process requiring a lot of paperwork, and since you live out of state you should consider hiring an attorney to assist you. You can try and do it on your own, and the NJ Courts website has the pro se packet for doing expungements. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in the past. Please contact me if you would like to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Re: criminalrecords

What county did this take place? I can file a Petition to Expunge the arrest data in the counties around my area for a reasonable fee.
