Re: crminal case
There is a section of the New Jersey statutes that allows you to file a motion for a change or reduction in a sentence if the person is terminally ill. It is not a guarantee that the person will be released, but it is your recourse in a situation like this. It is best if you hire a lawyer if you are filing motions with the criminal courts. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
