Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
defence attorney responsibilites
i have a question.
is it the defense attorney�s responiabity to inform the judge of his/hers clients pending charges in another municipality?
even when the prosecutor in the same municipality is aware of pending charges in the other municipality?
Is there any supporting data for this??
i need an answer to
my question ASAP

About matters of which a lawyer has knowledge and which are not protected by the lawyer-client privilege a lawyer must answer a judges questions and answer truthfully.
