Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

disorderly conduct, obstruction

I was given two tickets the statutes are 2c:33-2 and 2C:29-1, what is the best course of action i should take? If I plead guilty, will it go on my record? The tickets were given saturday morning 4/18/09 and I have court 4/22/09, I really dont have the leisure of time to research this. I was told i would have to enter a plea when i go into court with or without a lawyer, and i cant reshcedule until i do, should i just pay the fine?

You are charged with obstructin justice and being a disorderly person. You need the services of an attorney. You need to go to court to ask for time to hire an attorney. If you hire me I will have the date changed so that I can prepare your defense.

Re: disorderly conduct, obstruction

You really need to speak with an attorney. I really can't see a situation where it would make sense to just give up and not fight the case with an attorney. If you call me today, we can discuss the case tonight. 732/247/3340.

Re: disorderly conduct, obstruction

These are not just tickets, they are criminal offenses. You can't just pay the summonses since you are facing jail time. If you plead guilty or are found guilty you will have a criminal record. You really need to talk to a lawyer before you do anything. If you hire a lawyer before the court date you may be able to get the upcoming court date adjourned until a later date. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
