Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Disorderly conduct offense in wildwood new Jersey. Been in court twice not guilty they tried to plea bargain to a 250 fine. Now when we go back for the third time they say we need to bring witness. The officer has not been their. Was arrested because they said I was trying to start a fight. However they never took no names of who I was suppose to going to fight and only I was arrested and charged. Don't they have to prove I did this why do I need to bring people in. Sorry for the mis-spelling. age 18.

I am sure you have an attorney by now and you should defer to her or his advice. Furthermore, you don't have to do anything. The State has to bring in witnesses to prove the case. If you don't already have a good attorney, now is the time to get one.

The officer does not need witnesses. You do. He will probably be believed unless a strong effort is made to defend you. You need an attorney who knows how to try your case, to defend you.

Call me if you like.

The state has to prove the case against you. You are innocent until proven guilty. I would have to see what evidence they have before I could give you a definite answer about whether I think they can prove the case against you. Please call me if you would like ot discuss your case further. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
