everything in drug cases depends on weight, so it depends on what amounts of drugs are found in their posession...

However, you must also realzie that if you do not make a report or contact the police that if drugs are found in your home you may be arrested as well, as the law inherently assumes you have knowledge of any contraband within your home...

for most charges such as these, they are deportable offenses... if a person is arrested and bail is put on them usually INS puts a hold on them immediately and they are not released at all, and once the case is over they are transported to an INS facility and detained their until a hearing for deportation.

generally, however in most cases where bail is granted there is no issue of deportation untill the case is over, depending on the way in which the case is terminated.

You are not a police officer. If you want to coopoerate with police, make sure they put in writing their intention to use your cooperation.
