Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Drug Possession
Me and my brother were stopped in a parking lot and an officer asked my brother to step out to be searched, my brother was searched and I was searched and they found the marijuana in my sock inside the car, it was not mine my brother just told me to try and hide it. The officer said he saw me eating the marijuana and after we were arressted and charged with possession under 50 grams, 2 days later a paper came in for destroying evidence, but i did not destroy any evidence. I am on P.T.I right now for a computer charge, (no drug charges on either record). I am looking for an attorney who can get the charges against me dropped and a conditional dis-charge for me brother (he qualifies for it, he has no prior drug charges). Please someone get back to me as this is a very urgent issue. I will explain all the details as soon as we speak.

Re: Drug Possession
You and your brother must each have your own attorney on the new charges. Your brother may be eligible for first offender treatment, but your situation is not so simple because you are going to
be charged with violating your PTI status.
Call me if you like.
