Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

A former employee filed charges of theft which I was summoned to court, never arrested. The charges were dropped in court. I have applied for a job and apparently this has appeared on the background check. Why does it appear if the charges were dropped.

Because the record of arrest will remain. You can get an expungement will wipe that off of your record. Call me at 732/773/2768 if you want to discuss this further.
