Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
A former employee filed charges of theft which I was summoned to court, never arrested. The charges were dropped in court. I have applied for a job and apparently this has appeared on the background check. Why does it appear if the charges were dropped.

No one wants to hire someone who may be a thief. You need an expungement.
