Expunge
If I'm convicted of a felony/reciving stolen property/, can I get this felony expunged. Thank you

If you are convicted of a felony, known in New Jersey as a crime, you will have to wait ten years after the sentence is served or probationary term is completed and all fines are paid to file a petition with the Superior Court of New Jersey to expunge the record of your conviction.

You have to wait 10 years, then file a motion and then the State can still object.
