Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

expungement

I was convicted of 2c:35-4 in 2003. I plead to a lesser charge of 3rd degree possession. I have one felony charge of 3rd degree possession of methamphetamine in the state of Oregon 2000. Is it possible to have these convictions expunged? If so how do I go about doing this? I completed 5 years of Drug Court probation.

Re: expungement

Short Answer is No. Because you were convicted of these charges, you are disqualified from expunging your record.

The usual wait is 10 years but these are fact sensitive. Look at NJSA 2C:52-2.
