What is/are the penalties for violation 2C:35-10A?

There are numerous offenses that fall under 35-10a so I would need more information about your case. It could be anything from a disorderly persons offense all the way up to a 3rd degree crime where you will go to prison if convicted. On top of that, you will have to pay fines and probably lose your license. Because of that, I strongly suggest you get an attorney.

It depends on which drug is involved.

The subject offense is either a third degree crime punishable by up to five years in prison or a fourth degree crime punishable by up to 18 months in prison.
