Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Falsely accused prosecution has no proof in DV case

I met someone off the internet knew them for 3 weeks, they came from NC to NJ obsessed and wouldnt leave.Called police when I told person to leave and said that I beat her up which was a lie.Cops called me and I return back and was arrested and indicted on aggr assault and harrassment because she told prosecutor we had 6 months dating relationship and was pregnant with a baby we planned which is a lie. I have all the proof with emails and she never showed up.I had to change my numbers due to her harrassing me and filing false charges in Charlotte Nc stating I broke in her house when I was in NJ. I pressed harrassment charges on her and she never showed for court now there is a warrant in Hamilton NJ for her.The alleged victim was jailed for being a fugitive and was extradicted, has 2 financial fraud warrants and ,unauthorized use of vehicle warrant and was jailed.Brought all that to prosecutor and they are still trying to make me cope a plea to something I did not do,stating that they have pictures of her bruised ,I told them she is crazy and I did not do it.Up until 3 weeks ago, I guess she wa sreleased out of jail she emailed me stalking me and found me in another state. What am I suppose to do,my PD is horrible.

You are up North and it seems like you don't have a lot of money. May want to contact an attorney. Mr. Moore will probably charge you less than me, especially since he's up there. Give him a call and see what he says.

If you didn't do it, don't plead guilty. If you are unsatisfied with your public defender, and if you can afford it, hire a private lawyer. If you can't afford a private lawyer, tell your public defender in no uncertain terms that you will not plead out and insist that he take the case to trial. Contact my office if you would like to discuss this in more detail - I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
