NEED HELP FAST..sexual assault on a minor

I was charged and arrested in august of 2003 with sexual assault in the first degree and endangering welfare ofa child. I was realeased on 100,000 bail that day and i had retained a good lawyer. I have no criminal history at all. I did not commit this crime and i took a polygraph from MY attorny and passed once then i took it again and got an inconclusive leaning toward truth. since then i pleaded not guilty and the court dates have been ajourned since dec 2003 every month because the prosectuion was busy and didnt have time to investigate our side of the story. I have very strong witnesses seeing how the child was my wifes niece and has a history of lying and the childs mother has as well.the child is 6now and she said it happend 2-3 years ago but remembers some details but only of a sexual act and when she told her mother of this act her mother mentioned names and we have no idea how my name came about .Anyway the prosection finally finished their investegation that lasted 4 days this week and my next date is on april 26th. My lawyer feels that the mother has gotten too far into this and wants out and that the child will not testify.What happens if the child does not testify?Its been 9months and im going crazy and lost my job
