It is a matter of how important success in your motion is to you. If you fail because of some minor mistake on your part which prevents you from filing for reconsideration afterwards you may learn a very expensive lesson. With a lawyer's assitance you may fail anyway.
The fee for legal services could be between $1,500 and $2,500 if you hired me. With another attorney the fee can be more or less.

Re: Need to file motion
I would never advise someone to file a criminal motion without the assistance of an attorney.Yes, of course you can file the papers without using an attorney, but you would be well advised to at least have an attorney review it before you file it. In order to retain me, my average fee for preparing and arguing a motion in Superior Court is $1,500.00. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in the past. Please call me at 1-908-272-0111 to discuss the specifics of your case. There is never any fee for simply discussing a case with me. Thank you.
