Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
A friend of mine did not know that switchblades were illegal in new jersey, and uncle gave it to him in Romania. The knife was just in his bag (never used it or anything), and a cop saw it and he has a court date for it now. Honestly, he did not even know it was a switchblade but just a normal pocket knife. I was wondering what charges he will most likely get for this and if it will really show up on his record.
